Stone Soup Luncheon

This year was our 4th annual stone soup luncheon. It is definitely one of our favorite activities each year. Each student brings something to add to the soup and we work together to prepare our soup, cutting vegetables, stirring in broth, and mixing it all together. The idea comes from the children’s book titled Stone Soup where a village comes together to create a communal meal of soup after realizing that alone each family does not have enough, but together they have everything they need. We then invite a family member to enjoy our soup with us and we gather around big tables and share and give thanks.
Enjoy the pictures!

We had so much fun celebrating Halloween both on the actual day and the day before. The weather allowed us to parade down Woodstock Blvd. and we played a variety of games too.
