We have been working on some very fun Spring art projects recently. Blue skies, flowers blooming, birds chirping – the sights and sounds of Spring.
This week we got to make friendship bracelets and celebrate the great friends we’ve made at school.
We also did rainbow hand prints!
And on Friday we celebrated friendship with a make-up field trip to Berkeley Park.
We are so thankful for all the awesome friendships that have formed this school year. Each of this kids is so awesome!!
Due to the snow, we are cancelling our open house scheduled for today, February 8th. Anyone interested in touring the school may call and set up a time for a tour.
We had a great final week of career month this week. It has been so much fun to watch our students learn about different career paths and we have definitely had some interesting conversations about all that we have learned this month.
On Tuesday our class went on a field trip to the library where we got to see how everything works.
On Thursday we had an exciting visit from Dan Lockwood who works ski patrol at Mt. Hood Meadows. The kids loved hearing all about helping people on the mountain.
Our final career month visit was on Friday when Trisha Highland who is a fitness instructor. The kids got to hear all about eating right and staying active.
Once again we had an incredible career week last week. It has been so awesome to watch our students so excited to learn about all the things they can do when they grow up!!

Marissa Martinis came and talked to two different classes about being a firefighter!
Our T/TH morning class took a walking field trip to the Safeway bakery to learn all about being a baker.
We got a visit from Laura Stadler, a Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nurse. She even brought baby monkeys, swaddle blankets and bottles so all the kids could practice!
What a fun a full week we had!!
On Tuesday students learned all about being a letter carrier and they even got to practice delivering letters. Thank you Aaron Biehl for coming and sharing.
It was definitely a two thumbs up week!!
