Summer Camp at the Homestead
Summer Camp 2024
Please join us for a summer of outdoor fun!! We will have 8 individual weeks of exciting, theme- filled camps. Students will use our indoor Annex space and our outdoor Schoolhouse space, as well as go on nature walks and exploring the vibrant Woodstock neighborhood.
Summer Camp 2024 Schedule
June 17-21: CAMP ADVENTURE AND EXPLORATION [camp lead: Ms. Aubree]

We will transform our outdoor space into a campground, while we explore the animals, plant life and tips for survival in the great outdoors. Campers will explore the nature that surrounds us by spending our day outdoors, taking nature walks around our neighborhood and hiking through Reed College Canyon. Students will also learn about various plants, vegetables, flowers and fruits in our backyard garden.
June 24-28: EXPLORING THE WORLD OF ART [camp leader: Ms. Jillian]
Students will explore different genres and styles of art while introducing them to art elements and design principles. They will paint, draw, make sculptures, create art using images and materials from the world around them, as well as some work from their own imagination. Students will spend time indoors and outdoors. This could be the perfect summer experience for your sensory loving child!
July 8-12: ANIMAL PLANET [camp leader: Ms. Karina]
We are bringing the zoo to us! This will be a fun week of animals around the world. Students will learn about fun and unique animals, as they study insects, reptiles, fish, birds and mammals. Art projects and crafts will be themed around various animals. Games, songs and even some snacks will be animal themed.
July 15-19: BACKYARD SPORTS GALORE [camp leader: Ms. Aubree]
Summer is the perfect time to play backyard sports! Students will take part in friendly competitions with frisbee toss, whiffle balls, kickball, soccer, badminton, and 3-legged races. At the end of the week, students will take part in a friendly, fun and challenging obstacle course. Olympic medals will be given to each competitor.
July 22-26: LET’S GO TO THE CIRCUS! [camp leader: Ms. Karina]
During this week, the students can “clown around” all week long! Along with circus music and crafts, students will participate in some circus tricks. They will juggle, balance, ride bikes, do “tricks” on our trapeze swings and even participate in some magic tricks. We will finish the week with face painting and a talent show.
July 29-Aug. 2: SCIENCE PALOOZA [camp leader: Ms. Jillian]

Childhood curiosity, experimentation, and imagination can develop a child’s play instinct. Students will investigate the world of science through many different experiments and projects. We will study foam, fizz, density, and more!
Aug. 5-9: MYTHICAL CREATURES [camp leader: Ms. Karina]

This enchanting camp will allow us to use our imaginations as we paint, draw and build mythical creatures such as fairies, dragons, unicorns and more. We will even have a chance to create our own creatures.
Aug. 12-16: MUSIC AROUND THE WORLD [camp leader: Ms. Jillian]

Students will explore various fundamentals of basic piano, rhythm, beats, and movement. We will also explore music through art, by making musical instruments each day and listening to different types of music. There will be a lot of dancing and musical games. On the last day of camp, students will participate in a drum circle.
Summer Camp 2024 Registration Fees
Summer camp ages are for kids 3-7 years old (going into 2nd grade)
Camp days are 9:00am-3:00pm
You may enroll for individual weeks OR for all 8!!!
1 to 3 camp weeks: Each week is priced at $400.
4 to 6 camp weeks: Enjoy a reduced rate of $375 per week.
7 to 8 camp weeks: Maximize your savings with our lowest rate of $350 per week.
